Ms. Dugan has been a nurse for 28 years and has two young adult daughters whose births were both attended by Carey Ann Ryan. She is committed that every family be given the information to make educated decisions about the way they want to design the birth of their child. She is proud of the fact that the birth center offers a library of over 7,000 books and 500 videos for use by all families.
